Make bookings for your Car rental in advance, especially when you wish to use the Car during peak travel season- June to September and December to February.

The most important thing to check when renting a Car in Rwanda is the rental agreement, which should be carefully read and understood to avoid any unexpected surprises while returning the Car. Check for information on additional costs, insurance coverage and mileage.
Properly check the Car (internally and externally) for any damages by taking photos of the current state to ensure that any damages, dents, or scratches caused by previous passengers/drivers won’t cause extra charges.
Always check for information on toll roads, especially when going through Entebbe Town.
Be sure that the rented Car matched the chosen model because you might end up with a different model, that wasn’t initially booked for.
